Legal compliance, risk management, and ethical principles have been current practices since the foundation of LS as far back as the 1940’s. We act in accordance with the law, regulations and standards applicable to LS, as well as the internal policies that the LS Group decides to adhere to. The Board of Directors, Employees and Third Parties that have relations with the organisation have always been required to comply with the above mentioned requirements.

The mission of the Compliance Department is to guarantee the implementation and effectiveness of compliance with legal and regulatory requisites, and in accordance with the Policies and internal practices of LS.
Our purpose is to maintain this Culture of Compliance alive and guarantee the perfect functioning of the Internal Control Systems of LS, seeking to reduce risks in accordance with business complexity.
Compliance at LS, and according to best international practice, complies with the following requirements:
  • Independence, through the creation of a specific department;
  • Direct communication with the Board of Directors;;
  • Absence of any potential conflicts of interest;
  • Access to the necessary information to carry out their duties
