EspaçoTrans, a Customs Warehouse Management company that is part of the Luís Simões group, inaugurated a new customs warehouse in Póvoa de Santa Iria. Following the investment in the Warehouse of Leixões, inaugurated in November 2017, Luís Simões now invests in the area of greater Lisbon.
The new warehouse, already in operation with a total of 20 employees, will replace the previously existing structure in Alverca, and provides import, export and normal distribution services with the licenses of Customs warehouse, Temporary Warehouse, Export Warehouse and Authorized Receiver, with forklifts up to 5 tons. The new warehouse has about 9.000m2 of covered area and 4.000m2 of public space, 8.125 pallet places, 3.000m2 of cross docking area, direct access to IC2 and A1, as well as 15 loading docks for trucks and containers and 13 docks for light vehicles.

The new EspaçoTrans warehouse will serve the port of Lisbon, the airport Humberto Delgado and the railway station of Bobadela, and will replace the Alverca warehouse.
