The Alumni Association of AESE Business School awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award 2023 on June 22, 2023, to José Luís Simões, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Luís Simões Group, for his exemplary merit, social impact, economic development, and remarkable volunteerism.

His focus on sustainable solutions and his commitment to passing on the family group’s legacy to successors are two personal hallmarks that he has successfully promoted and carried out, along with the dedication to building a more sustainable, equitable, and innovative logistics future,” noted Maria de Fátima Carioca, Dean of AESE Business School.
